Jade - $2800
(Located
in Renfrew) Jade is
a beautiful mahogany bay Arab/QH cross registered with the
Part-Arabian Register as 'Shati's Direct Dial' [Reg.
No. 1A02214]. Jade just turned 13yrs.
old and stands 14.2hh.
She is a very seasoned trail mount used extensively
the past 5 yrs. for more challenging trails. This horse is an exceptional athlete with endless stamina
and energy. Jade is very responsive
to her rider and goes either English or Western including
neck reining. Before starting her
career on trails, Jade was a family horse and ridden by a
youth for pony club type activities. Jade has perfect ground
manners in every way. There is never a
hint of aggression or non-compliance, she loves being
groomed, will stand quietly to be tacked up, mounted and
dismounted.
She will ride out alone or in a group, she does parades with
ease. She is very good with
the farrier, the vet, and being wormed. She has no special dietary requirements, no allergies to
anything, and is an easy keeper who has free choice to a
run-in barn. Jade, to date, has never
had any serious health issues and her feet are
extraordinarily good...shoes not required on this girl.
Her temperament is a cross between Arab & QH. the best
of both. She bonds closely with her
person and can be very chatty with them, she is always easy
to get in the pasture and will come to the barn at the sound
of 'the dinner bell' every time. She has no bad habits such as cribbing or nipping or being
'mareish'. She will tie to anything overnight if required as she has
done many overnight camping trips over the years. Trailering is no problem. Jade
is close to bottom of the pecking order, and is a good nanny
to yearlings etc. although she has never been bred. Jade is not a horse for
the novice beginner as she is keen and eager and loves to be
out and would be ideally suited for a confident
rider who enjoys the same.
