Tango - $1,500 (Located in Arnprior)

UPDATE: Tango, he is now priced at $1500, his owners are moving and they need to get the horse numbers down. 

UPDATE: Tango, he has been out for a ride through the field with another horse and did not spook at anything. He will be out on another one later this week! Photo of his adventure is on the way.

Appy Gelding, born 2003. Standing at 14hh

Feet: Currently wearing shoes. But will have them removed in a few days.

Training: Tango has ground training as well as walk, trot, and back up under saddle. He has been walked and trotted over small basic obstacles and seems quite comfortable with them.

Stable manners: Tango can be out in pasture or be contentedly be in the barn. He has been both in a box stall and a standing stall as well as cross ties. He has had his feet done but sometimes puts up a fuss, should come with more work with his feet. He has been bathed and braided for the first time this July 2007. He did get a bit restless with the braiding. With more work this should not be a problem. Tango may need an experienced rider to complete his training.

Temperament: Tango gets along really well with other horses. He is great with people and is very loving. He is apprehensive of new things, but is willing to try them and is eager to learn.

Tango should with time and training  make a good child’s pony and/or pony hunter, as he has such a good temperament and a desire to learn and to please.
